Each year, the Mayor and his office look forward to receiving submissions from creative Barrie residents. 

Guidelines:

• The subject (art) should be suitable for use as a Christmas card and should depict a city of Barrie scene or event.
• More than one entry is permitted with separate entry forms for each.
• Photographs, paintings, drawings, etc. accepted.
• Minimum recommended size of original artwork – 4” x 6”
• Maximum recommended size of original artwork – 8” x 10”
• An award of $600.00 will be made to the winning entrant.

The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, October 30th at 4:30 P.M.

Following a thorough call to the community for nominations, we received a record 68 complete nominations across six categories. Nominations were reviewed and scored by an adjudication panel made up of cultural managers from municipalities outside of Barrie. Congratulations to the finalists!
