This program strengthens Barrie’s arts and culture community through strategic investments in the work of not-for-profit arts and culture organizations. There are four streams: - Operating Funding for Organizations with budgets of $75K+

- Project Funding
- Capacity Building Funding

Call for local artists working in the public realm |
We're accepting proposals from professional artists and artist teams based in Barrie or the County of Simcoe to design and create a temporary public art installation for the Seeds to Sow exhibition taking place next year.
The artwork proposed must be suitable for public (outdoor) display over six weeks and engage both locals and visitors to Barrie. Submissions are due on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. | | |

Summer Company will provide accepted students, aged 15-29, with mentoring, business training, and up to $3,000 in funding to start and run their business for the summer. The Small Business Centre will assist you in the development of their business plan and throughout their business operations throughout the summer.
