Calling all musical performers! |
The City of Barrie is looking for talented, local musicians to bring festive cheer to our Winterfest programming on February 1st and 2nd! Perform in cozy, heated geodomes (approx. 8x8 feet) throughout the event. One-hour performance slots are available, and we’re seeking family-friendly performers who are comfortable playing in winter conditions. Performers must bring their own sound equipment, and power will be provided. An honorarium will be given, and you’ll also have the opportunity to play for tips. If you’re interested in joining the Winterfest fun, contact the Special Event Team at events@barrie.ca and share a bit about yourself. The City of Barrie is currently accepting applications from not-for-profit arts and culture organizations for operating, project, and capacity building funding. The mandate of the Arts & Culture Investment Program (ACIP) is to promote and assist in the development of the arts in all its diversity for the enjoyment and benefit of all Barrie residents and visitors.
