| | Brightening Barriers returns in 2025! |
Brightening Barriers is a temporary public art project that brings original works by local and regional artists to patios throughout the downtown. With patio fencing serving as a canvas, Brightening Barriers offers an opportunity to turn the “barrier" of imposed separation into a collective artistic experience. This year will be the 5th anniversary and the exhibition will be on display from May to September 2025. Please keep an eye out for the call for artists on the Creative Barrie Facebook, Instagram, and X channels. Image credit: Marne Grahlman, Window Watching, 2023 at Homestead Artisan Bakery.
